Sony: The Walkman Revival

Sony was set to bring back one of its most famous portable audio brands – the Walkman. Iconic in the 80s, the Walkman of the 21st century was reinvented to compete with the new generation of MP3 players with superior audio and video playback. To appeal to the early adopters of a younger generation, the advertising was fun and irreverant and celebrated every individual’s right to love their unique kind of music.

The campaign proposed made creative use of OOH, ambient and print mediums to get music lovers into the Sony Walkman groove.
